Rivers earned a bachelor’s degree in television film from San Jose State University and had been working as a bail bondsman prior to entering the real estate industry. He was recognized as a top producer in the region during his time working at All-Pro Bail Bonds. 

When he’s not servicing clients, Rivers enjoys science fiction movies, games, animation and playing the drums. In 2006 and 2007, he helped produce projects that were finalists at the Cinequest Film & Creativity Festival.
